Chandlers Way BIO
This three-storey townhouse was typical of late-90s design trends – with the kitchen and separate living/dining space placed on the first floor. We’d always wanted the opportunity to open one up, and this was our chance.
Working with Simon and Allen was a joy. As long as we could explain the thinking behind each idea, they were open, collaborative, and excited to reimagine the space.
Our focus was on enhancing lifestyle flow in the house and future-proofing the layout. The biggest challenge was navigating fire safety regulations once the interior was opened from ground to top floor. So we worked closely with building control to design a custom misting system that would meet compliance without compromising aesthetics.
With safety assured, we opened up the living space across all three levels, introducing bespoke joinery and custom worktops to create a practical, stylish environment designed for long-term enjoyment and everyday ease.

Very happy with the whole team at Project One led by the award winning Dorian and Babette. The quality of the work overall, the quality of the components used. The timescale that was agreed was kept to. I work away so trust was a big factor and Project One gave me no cause for concern. To top it all Project One won an award for creating a unique splash back, thank you all at Project One.
