This part of the house had been stripped of its original charm and features, giving us the freedom to reimagine the space from the ground up. We restored the fabric of the room and introduced bespoke plaster detailing and custom skirting – designed in-house to bring originality and balance to the space.
The joinery, crafted in our signature Italian board materials, includes subtle lighting integrations and hidden storage solutions. A bold offset paint wrap plays with the room’s generous proportions, creating intimacy within scale. At the centre sits a custom-designed bed – a clever, sculptural divider that subtly zones the suite without interrupting flow.
Lighting is layered across seven sections, allowing the room to shift from soft and serene to rich and atmospheric. Floor-level sensor lights illuminate the space at night for seamless, sleep-friendly movement without disturbing a sleeping partner. Christian Lacroix wallpaper and blinds finish the room with a signature flourish.

From grand but impersonal to intimate sanctuary. This Victorian mansion bedroom was stripped of character and lacked the cozy retreat our clients craved within their stately home. What you’ll see in these images is the transformation from an empty, featureless room into a sumptuous cocoon – a hidden Narnia-like escape wrapped in rich colors and luxurious materials.
