The Clifton Loft BIO

This disused former Victrorian department store was a designer’s dream come true and perfect for our signature ‘luxdustrial’ design philosophy. Our brief was to convert a section of the apartment into a ‘tree house’, combining it with a ‘relaxing spa’ aesthetic. Custom Project One artwork integrated 50 kinds of design in this super space.
There were a lot of firsts for us here, with the 4mm cantilevered island, custom pivot hinge laser doors and Duravit SunDeck bath with custom oak joinery, and spa bathroom with Tylo Sauna.

Lifestyle Living Space

We reduced the plans from a 4 bedroom property to a one bedroom indulgent bachelor pad with future proofing options, and we got serious about design detail and finishing. Every section of stainless steel, joinery, marble and plaster, shadow gaps effortlessly against the existing building so no two materials ever touch. The lines flow and guide you magically around the space using lighting and music to create a journey through this 2800 sq ft space.

Bathroom

This was our first spa bathroom and the bedroom suite set the tone for our future “smile to sleep, wake wonder” spaces.

HALLWAY

The extra wide hallway leads into a vaulted mezzanine entertaining and living space, with prescribed office and roof terrace spaces – each one artfully designed to give a feeling of privacy when needed.
Combining a contemporary feel with the Victorian building was a challenge here as there were no existing features so we used carefully sourced, designed and created artwork and propositions to reflect the era.
