We were recommended Project One through a friend who works in the industry after their KBB design awards nomination and initially visited the design studio in Penarth.

We have an old manor house and wanted a show stopping space but after having paid for one a few years ago that didn’t live up to it’s expectations we were hesitant. Our shower broke down on Christmas Eve after our design meeting so Dorian arranged a plumber to call within an hour and our faith was restored!

We were presented with our design and mood board just into the new year and were stunned at the level of detail and mood board. The project had a base cost and a list of tempting options which happily we ticked.

The work commenced on time and the team of approved contractors were amazing. The mess left by our last project was rectified and the finish is outstanding. The marble fabrication done in situation is beautiful and gives a level of finish I’ve never seen in a domestic dwelling.

The feature tiles were coated with gold leaf in the room and installed beautifully. There’s a lighting source for every mood and occasion with the chandelier being a show stopper. Who would put a chandelier in a  bathroom. Dorian and Babette would!!

My hats off to the entire Project One experience from the VIP visit to Mandarin Stone to view their mesmerising installation to the exceptionally personal customer service where the client really is king. We just could not be happier. Our only issue is that we’re now in talks to have the rest of property redesigned to flow with the company ethos of creating lifestyle spaces!
