We first used Project One to refurbish two of our bathrooms. We were looking for a local firm that offered something other than you would find in the major showrooms. 

We were so delighted with the results that they were the obvious choice when we embarked on a more ambitious project to extend our kitchen into our side return in our Victorian townhouse.

We were a little anxious when considering the inevitable disruption but we have had many more laughs than tears. It is surprising how much fun tearing down the back of your house can be.

Dorian and Babette listened to our brief and came up with a design which fulfilled our requirements of a kitchen which was as functional as it was beautiful. They opened our eyes to the possibilities of using lighting, innovative carpentry and retrofitting furniture to create a unique space which far exceeded our expectations.

When we encountered the inevitable hiccups which go along with developing old houses they adapted the design to incorporate the existing features and elevated it to another level.

The standard of workmanship from all of the contractors has been exemplary but it has also been hugely reassuring to know Dorian has been overseeing the development throughout. 

If you want a generic, off the shelf design then I’m sure Project One could do that as well but why on earth would you? If however, you are looking for a bespoke, unique design which may develop organically as you progress then look no further.
