Grand Loft Renovation
This is where we grew up. This is where we formed our lasting partner relationships with Bocci, BHS group (Bosch, Gagganau, Siemans, Control4, Crosswater and Quooker).
The Brief
To convert an outdated ex-victorian shopping centre apartment in to an SBID award nominated, KBB magazine featured, tree house feeling, hidden room daydreaming, Barbarella, intergalactic space feeling, super spa relaxing, custom Project One artwork integrating 50 kinds of design love super space.
The Process
This project taught us more about you than we will ever know about ourselves. The hardest space to design is the one you live in, it taught us the true value of a fresh set of eyes on a habit formed home experience. After living in the apartment for 3 years getting our head around what was and what could be was one of the most difficult, but rewarding design experiences we’ve had.

“This was our place. Home. Studio. Our love.”
The Design
This was the point where we got serious about design detail and finishing. Every section of stainless steel, joinery, marble and plaster shadow gaps seamlessly against the existing building. The lines flow and guide you magically around the hidden tree house above Penarth’s high street.
