“From the very start, Project One wowed us. Dorian with his boundless enthusiasm and drive; Babette with her expertise in design and fantastic taste (not to mention her unfailing patience towards Dorian!); and Lyndon with his massive muscles (and tendency to always look for the answer to any issue, as opposed to dwelling on the problem at hand).

From a shortlist of six building companies, no one could match what Project One offered us. In fact, we thought it too good to be true to begin with.

The building stage was a whirlwind of activity. The back of our house was demolished on the first day (a job that could have taken other, lesser firms, a week or more); and the trenches dug and first bricks laid within three days!

Lyndon led his crew with laid-back affability, yet his manner was tinged with unrelenting purpose and commitment to the cause (namely getting the job done as soon as possible and to the highest quality).

Any questions we had as clients were always answered by the best qualified to do so and every effort was made to deal with any problem that arose as soon as possible and to everyone’s satisfaction.

Stage two of the build continued in the same vain – namely top quality work being implemented by some of the most professional and polite tradesmen we’ve ever met. Dorian even ordered a door with a cat-flap for us following a brief conversation about our intention of procuring a couple of kitties in the near future.

The final stage – and what sets Project One apart from the competition – resulted in a finish of the highest possible quality.

Our home now looks like something out of Ideal Home magazine, and although it won’t last (mainly due to the four-year-old graffiti artist and demolition expert that lives with us!), for the time-being, we can sit back, enjoy the surroundings and congratulate ourselves on making the best possible choice.”
